IN SHORT

We only collect what we need to make the app work. We do not sell your data. Your journal entries and supplement data are stored privately in your account and are only processed by AI when you ask the app to analyse them. You can delete your account and all your data from inside the app at any time. If anything here is unclear, email us at [email protected] and we will explain.

01 Who We Are

Vitrace is operated by JiangMade Studio, an independent studio based in Malaysia. References to "we", "our", or "Vitrace" in this policy mean the app and the operator.

Contact: [email protected]

02 What We Collect

We collect the following categories of information.

2a. Information you give us directly

  • Account information. Your email address and password (or the Google account ID if you sign in with Google), your chosen display name, and optionally your age, gender, height, weight, activity level, and any allergies you choose to share.
  • Supplement data. The names, ingredients, dosage, brand, and photos of supplement labels you scan or add manually, plus the intake history showing which supplements you logged on which days.
  • Journal entries. Anything you type into the "What did I do" journal, including descriptions of foods, activities, exposures, and symptoms.
  • Symptom and mood data. Self-reported ratings of energy, sleep, mood, and other categories that you log in the symptom journal.
  • Progress photos. If you choose to use this feature, the photos you take of yourself for personal progress tracking.

2b. Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data. Basic technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, and crash reports. We use this to diagnose bugs and improve the app.
  • Analytics events. Anonymous records of actions you take in the app (for example, "logged a supplement", "completed onboarding"). These events do not include the content of your journal or supplement names.
  • Subscription status. Whether you are on the Free or Plus plan, the start and expiry of any trial, and your subscription identifier from Apple App Store or Google Play.

03 How We Use Your Information

  • To run the app. Authenticate you, store your supplements, journal entries, and settings, sync them across your devices, and send the reminders you set.
  • To provide AI features. When you tap "Find my triggers" or use the AI label scanner, we send the relevant data (the label photo, or your journal entries) to Google's Gemini API for processing. We do not use your data to train Google's AI models — Google's Gemini API terms specifically prohibit using customer data for training.
  • To process subscriptions. RevenueCat handles your Plus subscription. They receive your anonymous user ID and subscription events from Apple or Google. They do not receive your journal entries, profile data, or supplement data.
  • To improve the app. We use anonymous analytics to see which features are used. We never tie analytics events back to identifiable individuals.
  • To diagnose problems. If the app crashes, we may receive a crash report with technical details. These reports do not include your journal entries or profile information.

04 Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with the third-party services we depend on to run the app:

  • Google Firebase. Stores your account, supplements, journal entries, and photos. Operated by Google LLC, located in the United States and other regions Google operates in.
  • Google's Gemini API. Processes your data when you use AI features (label scanning, "Find my triggers" pattern analysis, weekly reports). Inputs are not used to train models. Located in the United States.
  • RevenueCat. Manages your subscription status. Receives only your anonymous user ID and purchase events. Located in the United States.
  • PostHog. Receives anonymous analytics events. Located in the United States.
  • Apple and Google. Handle your payments if you subscribe to Plus. We never receive or store your payment card details.
  • Law enforcement. If we receive a valid legal demand, we will comply after verifying it is legitimate. We will notify you unless the law forbids us from doing so.

05 Your Rights and Choices

You can do all of the following from inside the app or by contacting us at [email protected].

  • Access. View all the data the app holds about you directly. To request a full export, email us.
  • Edit or delete. Edit your profile and delete individual supplements or journal entries at any time. The "Clear all" button on the journal removes every entry permanently.
  • Delete your account. Go to Settings to delete your profile, all supplements, journal entries, photos, and authentication record. The deletion is irreversible and completed within seven days.
  • Export your data. Email us and we will send a JSON export of everything we hold, usually within thirty days.
  • Opt out of analytics. The app shows no ads and uses no advertising cookies. Anonymous product analytics is on by default; to opt out, contact us.
  • Withdraw consent. If you previously consented to anything and want to withdraw it, contact us.

These rights apply to all users. If you live in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

06 Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your data within seven days, except where we are required to keep records for legal or accounting purposes (for example, transaction records for tax compliance, retained for up to seven years in fully anonymised form).

  • Crash reports are retained for ninety days then deleted.
  • Analytics events are retained for two years then deleted.

07 Children

Vitrace is not directed at children under thirteen in the United States, or under sixteen in the European Union. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below these ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We do not currently enforce an age gate at sign-up. If your child has access to your device, you are responsible for their use of the app.

08 AI and Your Journal

When you use the "Find my triggers" feature, we send your journal entries (the text describing your foods, activities, and symptoms, along with their dates and times) to Google's Gemini API. The AI analyses them and returns a list of suggested triggers. In practice:

  • Your journal text is transmitted to and processed by Google Cloud's servers. It is encrypted in transit.
  • Google does not use your data to train their AI models. This is contractually enforced under their Gemini API terms.
  • We do not store any copy of your data on our own AI servers. Processing happens on Google's infrastructure and only the result is returned to you and cached in your Vitrace account.
  • The AI's output is informational only. It is not medical advice. Do not change your diet, supplement regimen, or healthcare based on it without consulting a qualified medical professional.

If you do not want your journal entries processed by AI, simply do not use the "Find my triggers" feature. The journal itself works without AI involvement.

09 Third-Party AI Processing

When you use Vitrace's AI features (label scanning, recommendations, ingredient analysis, journal/symptom pattern analysis, and weekly reports), we send the relevant data you've entered — supplement names and intake history, allergies and sensitivities, journal/symptom entries, and photos of supplement labels you scan — to Google's Gemini API to generate your results.

This data is transmitted securely through our backend (Firebase Cloud Functions) only when you actively use an AI feature. Google processes it solely to return the requested output and does not use it to train its models. We do not sell your personal data. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Cloud/Gemini API terms, which provide protections equivalent to those described in this policy.

AI features require your explicit in-app consent, which you can grant or withdraw at any time in Settings → AI & Privacy. Declining does not affect core tracking features.

10 Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest in Firebase, App Check to prevent abuse of our backend, and authentication with strong password requirements or Google sign-in.

No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a data breach that affects you, we will notify you within seventy-two hours of becoming aware, as required by law.

11 International Data Transfers

Vitrace's backend runs on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States. If you live outside the United States, your data is transferred there for storage and processing. We rely on Google's Standard Contractual Clauses and adequacy decisions to make these transfers lawful under GDPR.

12 Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy in any material way, we will notify you in the app and ask you to acknowledge the change before continuing to use Vitrace. Minor clarifications and typo fixes may be made without notice. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the most recent change.

13 Contact Us

For any privacy question, data request, or complaint, write to [email protected]. We aim to reply within seven days.

If you are in the EU and we have not responded to your concern, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. If you are in California, your CCPA rights include the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of sale of personal information — we do not sell personal information, so the third right does not apply to us in practice.

Tend
Tend · Privacy Policy
Last updated 20 July 2026
THE SHORT VERSION

Your tasks stay on your device. Tend has no account, no sign-in, and no server of ours for your data to go to. Tend is made by Jiang Made Studio ("we", "us"), and this policy explains what happens to your information when you use the Tend iOS app.

01 Information We Collect

We collect nothing about you.

Tend has no user accounts and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, or any other personal information. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.

Everything you type into Tend — your tasks, notes, tags, locations, dates and reminders — is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us. We cannot see it.

02 How Your Information Is Stored

On your device

Your tasks are saved in the app's private storage on your iPhone. Task information is also shared with Tend's own widget, Siri shortcut and Lock Screen control through a private app group on your device. This never leaves your phone.

iCloud sync (optional, off by default)

If you turn on iCloud sync in Settings, your tasks are synchronised through your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud key-value storage, so they appear on your other Apple devices.

This data is stored in your personal iCloud account, not on any server of ours. We have no access to it. Its handling is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can turn sync off at any time in Tend's Settings, and manage or delete the stored data through your device's iCloud settings.

Backups you create

Tend can export a backup file of your tasks. Where that file goes is entirely your choice — Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, or anywhere else you send it. Once exported, the file is yours and is no longer governed by this policy.

03 Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. Tend has no push notification server and sends nothing over the network to remind you. If you decline notification permission, everything else in the app still works.

04 Purchases and the Optional Tip

Tend is free. It contains one optional in-app purchase — a "Buy me a coffee" tip — which unlocks nothing and is never required.

If you choose to make that purchase:

  • Apple processes the payment. We never see or receive your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID.
  • We use RevenueCat, Inc. to validate and manage the purchase. RevenueCat receives limited technical information associated with the transaction, which may include an anonymous app user identifier it generates, purchase and transaction details, your device model and operating system version, and your country or region. It does not receive your name or payment details. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

If you never make a purchase, no purchase data is created.

05 Diagnostics

Tend contains no crash-reporting or analytics tools. If you have enabled sharing of analytics and crash data with developers in your iOS settings, Apple may provide us with anonymised, aggregated crash reports. This is controlled by you in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements and can be turned off there.

06 Sharing and Selling

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with anyone. There is no information for us to sell. The only third parties involved at all are Apple (payments, iCloud, notifications) and RevenueCat (purchase validation), as described above.

07 Children

Tend is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. Because we collect no personal information at all, no information about a child can be collected through the app.

08 Your Control Over Your Data

  • Delete individual tasks at any time in the app.
  • Reset the app — Settings → Reset → Reset app erases every task on the device and returns Tend to its fresh-installed state.
  • Delete the app — removing Tend from your device deletes all of its local data.
  • iCloud data — turn off iCloud sync in Tend's Settings, and manage the stored data through your device's iCloud settings.
  • Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are governed by their respective policies; contact us and we will help where we can.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), the EU/UK GDPR, or the CCPA to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve or erase — but you are welcome to contact us with any request or question.

09 Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a future version of Tend collects information in a way this policy does not cover, we will update it before that version ships.

Terms will appear here
ViTrace
ViTrace · Terms & Conditions
Last updated 16 June 2026
BEFORE YOU START

These terms govern your use of Vitrace. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Vitrace is operated by JiangMade Studio, an independent studio based in Malaysia. Questions? Email [email protected].

01 What Vitrace Is and Is Not

Vitrace is a personal wellness tracker. You can use it to log supplements, journal foods and activities, track symptoms, and receive AI-generated suggestions about patterns in your data.

Vitrace is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional. The AI features generate suggestions based on patterns in your own journal. They are not diagnoses, not treatment recommendations, and not based on clinical trials or peer-reviewed research applied to your specific case.

If you have a medical concern, see a doctor. If something the app suggests contradicts what your doctor says, listen to your doctor. We do not take responsibility for any health, dietary, or lifestyle decisions you make based on the app's output. You are responsible for verifying anything Vitrace tells you before acting on it.

02 Who Can Use Vitrace

  • You may use Vitrace if you are at least thirteen years old (or sixteen in the EU and UK). If you are below the age of majority in your country, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
  • You may not use Vitrace if you have been previously banned from the service.
  • You may not use Vitrace to log data on behalf of someone else without their knowledge and consent.

03 Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe. Do not share your password with anyone. You are responsible for everything that happens through your account. If you suspect someone else has accessed it, change your password immediately and contact us.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for fraudulent, abusive, or illegal purposes. Where possible we will give you notice and a chance to fix the issue first. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen — account deletion is permanent and irreversible.

04 The Free Plan

The free plan allows you to:

  • Add up to five supplements.
  • Log daily intake without limit.
  • Keep up to one hundred entries in the "What did I do" journal.
  • Use the AI label scanner with reasonable daily limits.
  • Use the AI entry parser with up to fifteen requests per day.

The free plan does not include the "Find my triggers" AI pattern analysis or deeper analytical features. We may change the free plan's limits over time. If we tighten the limits, we will give you at least thirty days' notice before the change applies to your account.

05 Vitrace Plus

Vitrace Plus is a paid subscription that unlocks unlimited supplements, unlimited journal entries, the "Find my triggers" pattern analysis, deeper ingredient analysis, and weekly AI reports.

5a. How billing works

  • Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us. They handle your card details, refunds, and subscription renewals.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel at least twenty-four hours before the next renewal.
  • Prices are shown in the app and may vary by country.

5b. Free trials

If we offer a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before then. You can cancel from the App Store or Play Store settings on your device.

5c. Cancellation and refunds

To cancel, follow Apple's or Google's instructions in their respective app stores. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Plus access until then. We do not directly process refunds — requests must go through Apple App Store or Google Play under their own policies.

5d. Changes to Plus

We may change the features included in Plus over time. If we remove a feature you were paying for, we will give you at least thirty days' notice and offer a prorated refund or a replacement feature of comparable value. Existing subscribers keep their current price until the end of their current billing period, after which the new price applies if you renew.

06 Acceptable Use

Do not use Vitrace to:

  • Harm yourself or others.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
  • Bypass the AI rate limits, App Check, or other technical protections.
  • Use automated tools to mass-create accounts or scrape data.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercialise the app or any of its outputs without our written permission.
  • Submit content that is illegal, hateful, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights.

We may suspend or ban accounts that violate these rules.

07 Your Content

Anything you type into Vitrace (journal entries, supplement notes, profile information) belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service to you — this includes sending it to Google's Gemini API when you use AI features, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the content you put into the app. Do not log medical information you are not authorised to share, do not paste content that infringes someone else's copyright, and do not use the journal to record information about identifiable third parties without their consent.

08 Our Content

The Vitrace app, its name, logo, design, code, and content (excluding your personal data) are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them.

The app's AI-generated insights are produced by Google's Gemini API on demand. We do not claim copyright over the AI's output as it relates to your specific data, but we also do not warrant that the output is original, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose.

09 Disclaimers

We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the AI-generated suggestions. They are based on patterns in your own data and on a probabilistic language model. They may be wrong. They are not medical advice. We do not warrant that the app is suitable for any specific medical, dietary, or lifestyle decision.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of profit, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility.
  • Any health, dietary, or lifestyle decisions you make based on information provided by the app or its AI.
  • Any damages arising from third-party services we use (Firebase, Gemini API, RevenueCat, Apple, Google).

Where the law does not permit total exclusion of liability, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is capped at the amount you paid us for Plus in that period, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is lower. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in those places, our liability is limited only to the extent permitted by law.

11 Third-Party Services

Vitrace relies on Google Firebase, Google's Gemini API, RevenueCat, PostHog, Apple App Store, and Google Play to operate. By using Vitrace, you also agree to the terms of those services where they apply to you. We are not responsible for changes those providers make to their services, pricing, or terms.

12 Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms over time. If we make a material change, we will notify you in the app and ask you to acknowledge the new terms before continuing. Minor edits and clarifications may be made without notice. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the most recent change.

If you continue to use Vitrace after the new terms take effect, you accept the changes. If you do not accept them, you can stop using the app and delete your account.

13 Termination

You can stop using Vitrace at any time by deleting your account. We can terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service entirely. Where reasonable, we will give you advance notice.

On termination, your right to use the app ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply. If we shut Vitrace down completely, we will give you at least thirty days' notice and a way to export your data before final shutdown.

14 Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. If you have a dispute with us, please email us first at [email protected] — we genuinely want to help and most issues can be resolved without a formal process.

If we cannot reach a resolution, the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the law of your country gives you the right to bring proceedings locally. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the consumer protection laws of your country apply where they grant you stronger rights than these terms do.

15 Contact Us

Questions about these terms, complaints, or concerns: [email protected]. We aim to respond within seven days.

16 Entire Agreement

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of Vitrace. They replace any prior agreements or understandings. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any part is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

Tend
Tend · Terms of Use
Last updated 20 July 2026
BEFORE YOU START

These terms are an agreement between you and Jiang Made Studio ("we", "us") covering your use of the Tend iOS app. By downloading or using Tend, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

01 Your Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Tend on Apple devices that you own or control, in line with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement.

You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app; copy or modify it except as permitted by law; reverse-engineer or attempt to extract its source code except to the extent applicable law expressly permits; or use it for anything unlawful.

02 The App Is Free

Tend is free to download and use. Every feature is available without payment.

03 The Optional Tip

Tend offers a single optional in-app purchase — a "Buy me a coffee" tip that supports development. Please understand clearly:

  • The tip is entirely voluntary. Nothing in the app is locked behind it.
  • It unlocks no features, content, or functionality whatsoever. It is a gesture of support, not a transaction for goods.
  • It is a consumable purchase and may be made more than once.
  • Apple processes all payments and handles refunds under its own policies. We cannot issue refunds directly. Refund requests go to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

04 Your Content and Your Data

Anything you write in Tend is yours. We claim no ownership of it and, as described in our Privacy Policy, we have no access to it.

Because your tasks live on your device, you are responsible for keeping your own backups. Tend provides a backup export for this purpose. We are not responsible for data lost through device loss, damage, theft, resetting the app, deleting the app, operating system faults, iCloud problems, or any other cause.

05 Reminders Are Not Guaranteed

Tend schedules reminders using iOS local notifications. Whether and when a notification is delivered is controlled by iOS and by your device settings, and can be affected by permissions, Focus modes, Low Power Mode, the device being off, and other factors outside our control.

Do not rely on Tend as the sole reminder for anything critical — medication, medical appointments, legal deadlines, or matters affecting health, safety, finances or property. We are not liable for anything arising from a reminder that is late, missed, or not delivered.

06 Availability and Changes

We may update, change, or discontinue Tend or any of its features at any time. Features that depend on Apple platform capabilities — widgets, Siri shortcuts, Lock Screen controls, iCloud sync — depend on your device, your iOS version, and Apple's continued support for them, and may change or stop working outside our control.

07 Disclaimer of Warranties

08 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of Tend — even if we have been advised such damages were possible.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us through the app in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 10.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

09 Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for Tend. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and in the event the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

10 Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top will change, and continuing to use Tend after an update means you accept the revised terms.

11 Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Malaysia will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing here removes any protection you are entitled to under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
